Joyce El-Khoury, vocally powerful in the title role [Tosca], soars almost into the night sky as a guardian angel

– Kronen Zeitung

Joyce El-Khoury succeeded in making the title role the vocal focal point of the premiere. She captivates the audience with her prayer (Vissi d'arte) in the middle act through deep emotionality, the necessary pathos, and a beautifully resonant middle register. A wide spectrum of vocal colors and nuances—from deep chest tones to delicate pianos to bright high notes—dramatically brings to life not only Tosca’s jealousy but also her struggle for her beloved.

– Die Presse

Floria Tosca is played by Joyce El-Khoury—with precision, remarkable phrasing, and a penchant for drama.
