The impactful story of Simon Boccanegra invites the audience on a visually refined journey through modern day Italy. This rarely performed opera by Verdi is a sombre and instantly captivating thriller about political power struggles and family secrets across generations. The impressive creative team behind the production includes director Pierre Audi and sculptor Anish Kapoor, who has designed the sets.
