2018: A Year in Review

Joyce had a GREAT YEAR (as noted by Operawire with them listing her in their ‘Best of 2018’ list). She premiered 2 major world premieres (Liszt’s Sardanapalo with the Weimar Staatskapelle and Donizetti’s L’Ange de Nisida at the Royal Opera House / Opera Rara – both captured for international release in 2019), her solo album was nominated for The International Opera Awards, she role debuted Imogene in Bellini’s Il pirata to great acclaim solidifying her bel canto reputation even further, she debuted in Russia, she took hearts as Tatyana at home at the Canadian Opera Company, she appeared in Harrods magazine (!!!) and finally is about to close out her year making her Australian debut with Opera Australia (“A dream come true” for her).
